Builders/Architects/Interior Designers

LEED Certification: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System, developed and administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a third party certification program and the nationally accepted benchmark for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.

Energy Star Certification: In order for a home to qualify for Energy Star certification, a set of energy efficient guidelines set by the EPA must be met.  Energy saving products and materials used in Energy Star certified homes make them 20%-30% more energy efficient than a standard built home.

Certified Green Professional ( CGP):The National Association of Home Builder’s Certified Green Professional designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes, without increasing the cost of construction.

Energy Auditors

Certified Energy Auditor (CEA): The CEA certification is one that identifies professionals as having the required knowledge and experience of energy auditing through completing an examination and fulfilling prescribed standards of performance and conduct. Geothermal Installers

IGSHPA: A certification provided by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, after completing certified training and passing exam.

Plumbers

Accredited Green Plumber:  A training and accreditation program which teaches the practitioner the latest technology in energy saving appliances and installation, environmental impacts of plumbing services, and water conservation and cost savings. Solar Installers
